The Aycock Historic District is a primarily residential
neighborhood a few blocks north of downtown Greensboro,
North Carolina. It has
a rich architectural heritage, with most homes dating from
the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The neighborhood is
listed on the
National Register of Historic Places
and is one of three locally-defined historic districts in
Greensboro.
Most of the houses in the District were built in the first
decades of the 20th century and are somewhat various in
style and size. Typical homes include two-story Queen Annes,
Arts-and-Crafts style bungalows, and American foursquares.
